SIMOTION TECHNOLOGY FUNCTION LEARNING ERROR COMPENSATION OALECO SINGLE LICENSE FOR ONE DESTINATION DEVICE The runtime license for the LECo technology function enables compensation of cyclic disturbance variables from the process. The self-learning control algorithm detects cyclic disturbances on the drive control behavior from within the process, and compensates them automatically. The reasons for control errors, also called following errors, can be diverse: for example, an imbalance in the printing cylinder, unevenness of the flexographic printing block, or inaccurate sheet guidance. If such a following erroris cyclic, LECo can compensate the error almost completely by means of exact pre-control. The LECo algorithm continuously monitors the following error in the fault cycle, analyzes it, and calculates the values to be pre-controlled for compensation in the next cycle.
