The Smart Function Module SFM1-A11.1 allows to integrate AF contactors into a digital communication network. The module can be snapped onto AF09 – AF96 contactors with 24V coil voltage. The module is equipped with two X2X interfaces for excellent integration into B&R PLCs and allows monitoring and control of a contactor via bus. One digital input makes it possible to pick up an auxiliary signal, e.g. from a short circuit protection device. The AF contactor is mechanically linked which in turn provides visual feedback of the contactor position on the front of the SFM.
