The S803HV-SCL100-SR is a self-resetting short-circuit limiter. It provides full selectivity for the downstream S803HV-K High Performance MCBs. In the event of a downstream short circuit, the S803HV-SCL-SR will react selective to the group of S803HV-K MCBs, and only the faulty circuit will trip, while all other branches in the group protection remain operative. After the downstream device has tripped, the limiter contacts re-close automatically. In combination of S803HV-SCL-SR and S803HV-K the maximum breaking capacity is 15kA at 1000V AC.
